Rosenberg's work constructs environments and performative artifacts, incorporating movement, sound, and the public gaze. Working across gallery and theater spaces as well as in dark club dens, the creations carry a sense of mythology and the playful invention of lore, like telling and crafting stories by the fire with an air of something old and familiar. The movement practice explores the functions of language and identity, which transform through the process of creating surroundings. Nonsense choreographies emerge with high-sense intention. Through raw vocabulary and playfulness, the work creates encounters within the collective.
